Remember, these inspiring 'educators' are people who have deeply connected with a place, seen its beauty and understood its value, and in response they have set about building a legacy to persuade others to care for it.
...So we have asked each educator...
How do you persuade people to care?

CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOUR CONNECTION TO THIS PLACE AND WHAT DID YOU FIND SO BEAUTIFUL ABOUT THIS PLACE?
Montana is a vast state encompassing both extensive range lands and mountain wilderness terrain. My connection to this landscape and love of its natural beauty is evident in the themes I choose for my jewellery design, such as the mountains and trees always in view from my wonderful studio on high!
HOW ARE YOU BUILDING LEGACY TO GENERATE CARE?
I have created copper & metal artwork for 20 years. I love to scavenge recycled bins looking for that perfect piece. The by-product of my artwork is scraps of metal and for the past 7 years I have used these pieces to design a line of unique copper jewelry. The shapes & colors of the leftover pieces fuel my creativity. All of the patina copper is stained by hand. I have several “recipes” I use to create different variations. Each piece is one of a kind. My creations include earring, necklaces and cuffs.
My goal is that each customer is wearing a little piece of 'Montana' art.
